Hmmm...38 in 8 hours - but I finished my book. :)

Response from son as to my now having two space heaters that I do not plan on plugging in..."one for each room".  Oh well.  Another oh well from yesterday - 38 voters in 8 hours.  I do hope that the legislature addresses the length of time for early voting.  New York has a few more people than CT and they started yesterday.  The Registrars who have to be there every day are not going to be shop shape for the 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 or 10 p.m. ahead of them on the actual election day.  But not my circus, not my monkeys.  I have two more days to work and no election day for me.

So yesterday - watched Boston Blue, All-In, walked to Community Center, "worked" (read my book and processed 15 voters, walked home and was home in plenty of time to freshen up and get on LA DC ZOOM for 6:30 p.m. Town Halloween parade and the outdoor music of one of the local bars were going strong but were just a lull in the background by the time I got into bed at 8:30 p.m.  I am glad I have selected hearing developed over the almost two decades of living back on Main St.

Today, can't wait for my walk to Unionville!  2 miles a day is not enough to keep me going.  Also will move my car back into my parking space.  That worked out well where I put it.  They staged the town ambulance and fire truck on the street I parked so there was no thru traffic to cause any double parking near my car.  It was "full house" on parking as seen on my walk home from Community Center at 6 p.m.

4 and 7 p.m. DCs tonight.  Could way to get back on track for the week ahead.

If you have a hunch that what the experts say is going to happen is actually the opposite of what will occur then you must back your instincts all the way. Others may mock you but they won’t look so smug when events prove you correct.

You might not know what to do with yourself this morning, dear Libra, as the Sagittarius moon squares Saturn and Neptune. Rather than scrambling your brains trying to formulate a plan of action, tap into your body and focus on meeting its needs. Wellness should be a priority, especially if you anticipate a busy workweek ahead. Luckily, the stars grant permission to hide away at home once Luna enters Capricorn, separating you from the outside world. Treat yourself and your favorite person to a decadent meal when the sun and Luna align this evening, closing out the weekend with a taste of luxury.

Your personal and professional relationships should benefit from today's energies. This is a day to strengthen all your relationships, especially friendships. You may want to gather your closest pals and plan a party. Your optimism and generally positive nature should draw others to you like bees to nectar. Professionally, your efforts should bring success.

No party planning for me, but I will wait to really set a course until after my walk.  I do need to look at food for the week ahead.  The change of the growing season requires some adjustments.  :)  Have a good Sunday.
