Tuesday chore day

Wrote a poem last night for TX friend birthday.  Field of lavender in Albuquerque was one of the pics I attached.  She will move from TX in the relatively near future and split time between MX and New MX.  MUCH more adventurous than I am - who could not even get myself to New Hartford last Friday.  But that is what it means to be true to who we are - for both of us.  So congrats to both for knowing what that truth is.

I did get distracted by shining objects this a.m.  Got up at 3:30-ish a.m., not 4:32 a.m.  My only social media presence - LinkedIn - distracted me today.  But now I am back. :)  Yesterday - walk to Shoppes.  Not my usual Monday walk, but I did not do a recon of Shoprite on Saturday.  Eggs, cheese, red grapes are the only things on my list as we speak.  I did smile when I saw the sign on Shoprite entry doors - "We now use facial recognition."...What a world.  So wrote, walked, ZEN DC at 7:30 p.m.  Today - Shoprite, wash clothes, run dishwasher, walk, 2 p.m. FEN volunteer ZOOM, 4 p.m. SD DC, 7 p.m. Candid Conversation about Living with Loss, One Day at a Time  ZOOM with a group I have not zoomed with before.  Hurt my hand to click "pay COMCAST" button.  Oh well.  $116.76.  TV and internet.  No other subscriptions for me.  Oh well.

Waking up to 31 degrees.  Forecasted high 36 degrees...another Oh well.  I keep thinking that I very clear as to when I bought a new car battery - niece's wedding kerfuffle Sept 2024.  Should be good to start for this winter?  Time will tell.

The way to get the most from your efforts is to act as if you are being watched all the time. Even when you know that no one can see what you are up to you must not let your standards slip. Always expect the best of yourself.

Your mind could be of service to others today. You've been doing very well for yourself, and you're thinking in terms of sharing your good fortune somehow. A friend may have ideas for groups that you could get involved with. Before you commit to anything, make sure you really want to do it. You don't want to be entrusted with a cause and then let others down.

Major restructuring occurs throughout the coming months, dear Libra, as Jupiter begins its retrograde journey. Though you may approach change with apprehension, you'll feel more in control as these shifts take hold. Your professional life and long-term aspirations stand to benefit the most from this planetary backslide. Honor the duality of expansion and restriction, recognizing how one feeds into the other. Recognize that with success comes additional responsibilities, honing in on both the ups and downs of reaching goals. Tonight's Leo quarter Moon might cause you to detach socially, while connecting with the present can redefine your sense of gratitude.

Love the sound of "major restructuring".  Honoring the duality of expansion and restriction.  Have a good Tuesday.
