Making life easier for myself...novel concept. :)

Monday washing clothes, Tuesday washing dishes/Shoprite, Wednesday cleaning apt.  This line up feels easier.  Not sure why I put so much pressure on Tuesday before.  Why is always a question for me.  :)  So today - no family friend walk today.  She and daughter are going up to their farm in NYS for the day.  Will walk Friday or Saturday.  I am thinking the weather might have us landing on Saturday.  So I will clean apt, EOLD, walk, then GA DC tonight.  I don't talk much at this one.  Intimidated by all the PHD's, MSW's and MD's in the group.  Will see where the conversation goes tonight.  

Reading Kellerman.  Beef Stew left on the stoop from landlady yesterday!  What makes people be so generous and some so challenged by the concept?  Was talking at IOWA last night.  It was Dec 16 2024 that son and I landed in San Francisco from Arizona on our journey last year.  What a difference a year makes and what is the difference I want the year ahead to make.  This year has been sort of a holding pattern for me.  Something I wrote to the CA DC facilitator post meeting yesterday when she reached out to see if she had been a bit rough on those in the room who had trouble with the holiday time of the year - I honor you for letting us all bring our uniqueness to each gathering and you set the table for us to see how those differences bring us all closer together.  Today's lesson for me (as I take my last bite of my gifted beef stew 💖) is - How about I just celebrate and practice kindness each day and let the dates on the calendar take care of themselves? 

So nice not to feel like I was frost bite susceptible on my walk yesterday.  Even warmer is the word for today.  Watched the Monday FBI shows yesterday.  Dry spell on shows now on all fronts until after Jan or Feb.  :)  I did watch some of the town's Bd of Finance meeting from Monday night.  Have the balance queued up for later this a.m.  Budget overages already do not bode well for this budget year...should put it in the "not my circus, not my monkeys" category, but not there yet.
