I went to Shoprite AGAIN today...3-day-sale items - spent $9.23/saved 5.26. NOW I am back on track post this week's snow day Tuesday and the holiday week to get me back to Tuesdays only. PHEW! AND on my journey, I went to Ocean State Job lots and got a $2.00 2026 calendar. Long story about me and not investing in calendars of late. :) AND I went to Farmington Go Happy Gas for 6.459 gal/$2.89 gal gas to fill up tank after my Westerly travel and more Westerly for Christmas. So now I will settle in and wait for the clip clop on Main. Food trucks across from my apartment. So post galavanting, realized that I had already read the book that was next up on my bedside stand. Hate that when it happens. :) So very glad I picked up the Jan book club book the other Thursday. Think I am going to like it. The Main St Stroll was very quiet. Think people decided to stay home and drink instead of walking out in the freezing cold. The food trucks were parked right across from my apartment, but no commotion or enticing smells with the apt sealed up tight. And no clip clop heard...maybe the horses thought it was too cold too.
Today All-In, Lansing 10 a.m., walk, LA 6:30 p.m. Woke up to a dusting of snow, but nothing that will impact my walking.
Stop worrying about what is going on in the big bad world and channel your time and energy into events closer to home. Are there people you love who would appreciate seeing more of you? Then make them your focus this weekend.
