Travel part one down :)

Loved this picture someone from the GA DC sent with an email.  Nice image to start my day. And so I don't forget - 8:05 p.m., 3:56 a.m. and lots of dreaming but no recollection this a.m.  Didn't bring my paper journal with me to make those notes.  But back to yesterday - Ran and unloaded dishwasher, packed stuff, got my long walk in, headed out at 1 p.m. to sister #4's.  Got here at 3-ish.  About half way down the road, I realized that I had forgotten my "toiletry bag"...so first stop when I arrived was to walk up to Family Dollar and get comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, and mouthwash.  $4.25 "loss" from the trip but all things I can use up and having a comb to keep in my purse is probably not a total loss.  :)  Then I had my second meal.  Sister #4 got home from her walk with friends.  Then I settled in for some Hallmark movies while she went to the Y for her swim. ZEN DC was cancelled last night - facilitator not feeling too chipper.  

So today we wait on the weather to see what we will do.  Sister has a standing Tuesday breakfast meeting of retirees from her school work.  But weather will be the trigger whether that is the starting activity.  I will pitch in for shoveling for sure if needed.  She has doctor's appts which I might accompany her depending on weather so I can valet her around.  I have CA DC but timing should work for everything.  I was thinking about Vetrano's instead of GRAZE for my second meal today.  

Talk of the town is the death of a hockey coach from former school #1.  He died on the same day former school #1 won the holiday tournament he started decades ago.  Makings of a movie.  

You need to make more of an effort to understand why people act the way they do. That applies to all areas of your life but especially to family relationships, which could be a bit challenging over the next few days. See life from all angles.

Prep for company tomorrow - sister #6, niece #4 and her husband.  Sister #4's house is very festive.  Never ceases to amaze me the range of holiday in each of my siblings...I am at the -0- end of the gauge... :)  Oh well.  Will see what the next couple of days bring.  HOME on Thursday!  Have a good Tuesday.
