Could be a big day in my little life :)

Just sent this pic to a lady in Australia who I met in a DC.  She has everything in place...but we will see what comes out of her scan.  My PET scan is tomorrow afternoon. (The request went to the wrong department twice, but I got a cancellation time tomorrow at one.)  I'm supposed to be able to see the specialist next week.  Even if the results are sinister, I am not planning on having treatment with side effects.  A friend and I have scheduled a week at Quest for Life in Bundanoon to experience healthy lifestyle approaches to health challenges.  Two good friends came for coffee and a chat this morning, which was lovely.  I love her characterization - "if the results are sinister".  We will wait and see.  I should see her tomorrow night "in Lansing".  In my own search and because of a mention in one of the DCs, I did explore concierge doctors.  I only plan on making one call to them, so I won't be jamming up their schedule.  Good news, bad news - the medical system is losing doctors to concierge practices.  Maybe that can be an avenue for me if things ever got tricky.  I will discuss that in DCs this week to see if anyone has experience.  

Yesterday was a great walk day!  Sun shining.  Do wish I had worn my scarf but good.  Extended my walk by adding a jag to my reservoir route.  Pit stop at OSJL.  Saw family friend on the busiest road I walk.  Asked her what would your mental story be about the "walking lady on 202" if she did not know the walking lady on 202.  :)  She is off this a.m. to have half of her thyroid taken out on one side...Hope her husband will let me know if all goes well, but she has husband and two kids on the area so she will get plenty of attention.  Only dip in my day was reaching out to COMCAST to see if they could be of any assistance in lowering the cost of my TV part of my bill...I hung up when the frustration got too high...offshore help is not always awful, but so many times it is.  They have their scripts and I am not a script issue customer.  Oh well.  

Finished a Rose and started a Silva yesterday.  Will drop off the Rose on my walk today.  But first - run dishwasher, Shoprite for just a couple of things after last week's loading up - no need to be there when the doors open today, then CA DC, SD DC, then Somewhere in Bangkok for dinner!!!  Good day ahead BUT lots of people in my usual people-less days.  See how I hold up.  :)  Yesterday did a load of wash.  FEN and ZEN cancelled so I that facilitated being out wandering more than I would have.  Today I will be a bit "on the clock" in my non-clocked life.
