Distracted this a.m....COMCAST bill

My SS 2026 "raise" was just used up on the increase in my COMCAST bill.  I will call on Monday to see what I am paying for that I can cut out...I don't think there is a "thinner" plan, but it needs to be asked.  And the electric bill up next.  Going to be a rough start of the year.  But ZEN DC back tomorrow night after a month.  Very welcome!

Yesterday walked with family friend, watched All-In.  Cleaned off my office desk top.  Found lots of random pieces of paper with things I had noted of late.  "Acceptance is the most creative act."  "Give in to the seasons"  "The people who are close are obvious - good news, bad news - Don't go on a treasure hunt."  Also some books and videos to explore/re-explore.  Homemade chicken soup on my stoop from landlady yesterday.  What a gift.

Talked to sister #6.  She made it through the week with her one-good-arm.  Going to OT.  Her goal last night was to get a good night's sleep.  I will have sister #1 check on that on her sibling call.

Fun back and forth with son about music, war, life.  "This is one of my favorite war songs featured in a classic Miami Vice episode when they are fighting like sandinistas and drug dealers in bolivia or somewhere random :)  (Jackson Browne - Lives in the Balance) As for the guy u sent, i never met him but he shaved his beard and hair and kinda got backlash from the jewish community and now is just random guy.  He def had a good moment.  A friend told me yesterday about their experience with protests in the US and they were pretty harsh about how its just like 70 year olds waving signs around and not really doing anything.  Not sure where im going with this ha, but I told him i have too much to lose to try and change the world and argue with government when AI is about to take over anyway.  Had 2 be there in terms of having moments like vietnam and rights for women and black people.  Those days are long gone.  In good news though, just locked in our first event for art week, Feb 6.  We got one of the biggest new latin stars and chugging along with world cup plans.  It was kind of funny on a call with this company called "United Masters" the other day, the "boss" on the call was basically a couple years older than me or same age, but we bonded over how cool we used to be but now he works for F1, The super bowl, and Wes Anderson, and the list goes on.   I told him my mom used to hang with Wes Andersons mom :)"  Miami Vice and Wes Anderson - my son lives in another "realm".  In a very good way.

Today - walk.  No Unionville with the ice and some snow left.  Will wander.  Might go back to Shoppes.  We will see.  Nothing on my paper calendar.  Might reach out to sister #4 about going to sister #6's at end of month.

If you’ve been feeling a bit down of late don’t worry, because the events of the next few days will bring a smile to your face and maybe even have you laughing out loud. Life will always be fun if you want it to be fun.

Address impulses that hurt your financial stability, dearest Libra. As the Moon enters Scorpio and squares Pluto, unsustainable spending habits come into focus. Get creative with existing resources to curb the temptation to splurge. Conflict between family and your significant other may cause emotional stress, while Venus and Chiron form a tense exchange. Be mindful of the behaviors you admonish or defend, considering your role in maintaining the peace. Internally, strained feelings may indicate a need for self-care. Work toward establishing better routines to ensure personal balance in the future once Luna aspects the Nodes of Fate tonight.

Have you just recently reached a cherished goal, Libra? If so, you might temporarily be confused as to what you're going to pursue in the future. You may be toying with a number of options but not be sure which one is right for you. Perhaps it's none of them. Maybe your perfect goal is still over the horizon. Don't feel you have to get started on something right away. Be patient and have faith.

Fun is not on my to-do list on a regular day...will see if I get any inspiration today. :)  Patient and faith-full...that is a stretch, but I will see.  I am not an impulsive spender, but I will take a look at sustainability.  :)  Have a good Sunday.
