Yesterday I did go into a "mode" of I did my weekly load of wash, ran the dishwasher not knowing if I would be out of power. Got a long walk in . Now I am free and clear until Shoprite shopping on Tuesday and cleaning apt on Wednesday. Back and forth with TX/NM friend. She and husband will be in town for a wedding of one of his TX A&M grad students and she will come up a couple of days earlier and she and I will go see friend in Boston who had a stroke awhile back. Then sister #1 called for her sibling call. She hightailed it out of PHI on Saturday thinking the son of her gentleman caller would be arriving Sunday, but no go to his trip but she stayed put in VA. She is also working on getting me to VA when our friend from Paraguay is visiting in May. We will see how that develops. Sister #4 called she was getting ready for more snow than was predicted for me. She had her neighbor's son lined up to just do a swipe of her driveway to get her started and she would do the rest. LA DC at night...will let that one fall by the wayside for a bit. Usually on Saturday and every other month, so I went to it instead of Albany CA DC. Oh well. Former school #2 co worker texted me that she thought of me as she read The Correspondent ("you are Sybil") and Theo of Golden ("you are Theo") and did I watch the US-Canada hockey game. Her father was one of the original Hartford Whalers. Came to US from Canada and never left. One of her brothers lives in Canada, one in Alaska. Fun to hear from her.
So today - first light look see then shoveling. Just got an email from PD buddy. Will see if he got called in and had to work overnight or he is on special duty. Tonight ZEN DC. Perfect timing for me to sit in that caring and peaceful group and re-group after what should be a full day of fun...and I will hope a HINT of sun on the snow. Local news is starting up early - 4 a.m. - so I will tune in to see how the state is faring.
Although routine matters tend to bore you there will be situations of a trivial nature that you just have to deal with this week. To other people they may seem of earth-shattering importance, so do what you can to ease their fears.
Don't let the ego cloud your senses this morning, dear Libra, especially while negotiations unfold. As the Taurus Moon aspects Mercury and Mars, it's essential to weigh logic against instinct. Stubborn perspectives will prevent growth, though Uranus brings a shift midafternoon. If you've been struggling to sell your visions, it might be time to reorient your focus. Once you've taken the first steps to change the dynamic, others will do the same. The universe seeks to exceed your expectations after Luna enters Gemini this evening, aligning with Neptune and Saturn. Dissolve existing structures and expand upon your dreams to make the most of these vibes.
Your head is somewhat in the clouds today, Libra. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing; it just means that it’s difficult for you to get any work done. Much as you'd rather be elsewhere, you really do need to stay focused on the projects at hand. By all means, plan an exit strategy from the mundane routine of your day-to-day life, but don't expect to make your escape today.
I will try to let the day come to me today...working on my outfit that I know will be soaking wet by day's end. :) Am looking forward to flipping the calendar on my paper calendar at week's end. Niece #4 still planning on coming up on Friday even though Sister #1 cancelled her trip north. We will see if Sister #4 joins us. Have a good Monday.
