But yesterday - Shoprite - $46.07/$20.93 day. I got "taken" by the coffee sale...$9.99 for 26 ounce can of CFONs. :) Walk, CA DC, ran dishwasher and walked up to library for the Compassion & Choices/CT Death Collective presentation of Other Side - documentary about Lynda Bluestein. Room was in tears by the end. Very well done. Family friend was there and she gave me a ride home. Was prepared to walk home in the dark, but appreciated the ride.
Today - spent too much time responding to blog team re email that was waiting for me this a.m., walk with family friend, clean apt, thinking of making the bed move to spring through fall location and doing the window ballet/flannel sheet change out. Will see what I feel like post walk. Watch Monday's FBI episode. Looks like Easter at sister #4. Niece #4 and husband will be in attendance so I told her to bring her scissors because her aunt needs a haircut. Her mother (sister #6) did it in Jan 2025. That is when #6 asked me about I felt about Dorothy Hamill. A bit short on that cut. The niece seems to have a more controlled hand. And as sister #4 commented when I said I needed the little one to bring her scissors and schedule a slot for a cut - "Thank God! We might need more than a day for that!" I also gave my feedback on what I felt capable of bringing to the turkey dinner line up. Rolls, cranberry, butter (not shaped), gravy (or has that been mastered using turkey droppings?), corn - can all be on my list for Tuesday. Let me know if anything else comes to mind. Attendees - sisters 4, 6 and niece #4 and husband know that I only shop on Tuesdays so they need to let me know by then. :) At noon - EOLD - "A Book for Your Doula Tool Kit - Meet Jan Booth and Trish Rux, the authors of Dying Matters: 8 Conversations That Can Change Your Life. Learn their WHY for writing the book and how you can use it with clients and families." Then tonight - FEN's Choosing Switzerland. Learn from those who've been there. Nothing on my paper calendar after that until Sunday.
Have not heard from son yet post return to states. He has people coming to town, so it might be next week. I am thinking he is doing some stateside catch up.
If you find your way blocked by a seemingly immovable object today don’t try to smash through it or find a way around. Just bide your time and wait for the moment when the obstacle moves aside of its own volition, which it will.
Build up relationships that inspire you to act responsibly without squandering your ability to have fun. As the Aries Sun aligns with Saturn and Pluto, emotions intensify with those who offer security. Consider who imparts wisdom, but doesn't wish to change who you are. Unfortunately, this process may trigger unwelcome revelations about certain connections you've invested in. As the Cancer quarter Moon squares Neptune and Saturn, it might be difficult to face these truths. However, you could get trapped in a loop of dissatisfaction if you ignore red flags in favor of romantic whims. Seize control over your own actions once Mercury and the nodes of fate stir this evening, taking steps to improve your circumstances.
It doesn't seem fair that your workload has increased these last few days. Never mind that you still have all of your normal tasks to do, your boss expects you to finalize a new budget and write a proposal as well? Enlist the help of others if you can. If you can't, simply do the best you can without sacrificing time with your family and loved ones. Ultimately, Libra, the latter is more important.
Have a good Wednesday.
