Good visit day from cousin

PD buddy sent me this pic after I texted him that the sky was putting a good show on the first spring ahead nights.  :)  Good day yesterday - finished The Last Runaway.  Started Girl with the Pearl Earring.  Cousin and her gentleman caller arrived at 1:30 p.m.-ish.  Eggs in hand from caller's farm!  Gave one dozen to my landlady as I never have any "thank you" for all her food gifts.  Then we walked the reservoir.  Then to Grassroots for linner and ice cream.  Gentleman caller is a big ice cream fan.  Very good on food and ice cream offerings.  Then they headed home.  I will make up for miles missed yesterday today.  It is going to be warmer and sunnier today than yesterday!  

Today need to walk, do a load of wash, drop off book/pick up books at library. ZEN DC.  Did not wake up until 6:11 a.m.  Yikes!  It is not that I went to bed later than usual.  But as I told PD buddy.  This is the adjustment week to spring ahead clock change...  Just sent sister #1 her happy birthday email.

If you ignore what your inner voice tells you at the start of the week you will most likely regret it by the end of the week, so focus on what is going on in your own head rather than what is going on in the world at large.

I will try to stay calm, cool and collected and in light weight clothes!  It hasn't turned the total Spring corner yet, but today and tomorrow yes.  End of March will be turn AND flip mattress, put up storm windows/drop screens, move bed to non-winter position in bedroom.  But not this week.
