I shopped for "a thing" not groceries today!

Walked to Shoppes yesterday.  I was on the hunt for a small saucepan. Wanted a replacement for the one I got from my mother decades ago and that "failed" as in not sure what metallic off gassing was being done when I cooked which I tossed and the big spaghetti pot I had from one of sister #1's visits when she was entertaining her classmates at my apt.  The spaghetti pot was a bit of overkill for preparing boiled eggs and one serving of pasta...so I looked at Kohl's, Shoprite, looked at wide world internet.  All the choices seemed a bit steep.  So yesterday I wandered through ALDI on my way back from Shoppes and saw it!  Crofton Mini Ceramic Sauce Pan $5.99.  Right size and a price I could accept.  So I hustled home, got in my car and headed back to ALDI and Shoprite.  ALDI for the pan.  Shoprite for the BridgeFord Parkerhouse rolls for Easter Saturday gathering at sister #4's.  I have been eying them and realized that I was going to miss the sale if I did not buy them yesterday.  So the $4.19 marked price minus sale $1.20 off and additional $1.00 digital coupon - 24 rolls for $1.99.  Again, a price that got me.  :)  Felt accomplished in my "singular" way.

Once home, I ate then headed to swimming lady's house for Coffee Klatch at 3 p.m.  Got back home at 5:18 p.m.  Swimming lady is off to the Cape in June for her BIL's 90th birthday and she asked me if I would stay at her house and mind the cat.  Thought it was a bit of kismet as son had just mentioned his NYC trip in June.  Maybe that can be our home base if he comes this way.  Big house, great front porch overlooking town.  Have him rent a car.  Might all come together.

Today - I will try again to walk to Unionville.  Wish me luck that barrier is down and I can make it all the way.  FEN presentation online through the Hemlock Society of San Diego at 4:30 p.m.  Family friend just sent me a text last night that I got this a.m. about a program at our library on Tuesday p.m.  I signed up for it today.  Film Classics: the Most Iconic Scenes in Movie History  Tomorrow I am planning my spring cleaning load of wash - curtains, shower curtains, flannel sheets, little rugs in kitchen and bathroom.  Also confirm shopping list with sister #4 for my Tuesday Shoprite.

Make an effort to see life from as many different angles as possible over the next seven days. You have been a bit too rigid in your thinking in recent weeks and it hasn’t done you any noticeable favors, so set your mind free.

Envious companions may try to derail other relationships, sweet Libra. Jealousy manifests in unexpected ways while the Leo Moon aspects Chiron, Uranus, and Venus. Don't stoop to the level of those who wish to drag you down. Instead, send a message by investing fully in those who raise you. Drama will blow over as quickly as it arose, but you should take note of issues that have become a pattern. Solitude offers clarity on whether or not you can move forward with certain people once Luna enters Virgo this afternoon. Romance yourself through self-care practices, or enjoy a creative outlet when the Moon, Pluto, and Saturn align later tonight.

Money worries could cause you to resist attending a group event with some friends, Libra. Are you afraid you'll be tempted to spend more than you can afford now? You probably will, but that's no reason to stay away. Leave your checkbook and credit cards at home. Take only a minimal amount of cash. If you see something you can't live without, take the name and number of the vendor for later.

No shopping or paid events for me.  Yesterday was "huge" for me - pan and rolls.  First off Tuesday shopping in quite a while.  :)  Windows wide open day today.  Long walk.  Feels good already.  Should be quiet on the streets - area a bit consumed with basketball as we speak.  I have never watched a full UCONN basketball game since I went to Hartford 15-20 years ago to watch UNC-UCONN women.  Sylvia Hatchell was the coach so it was a bit ago.  Have a good Sunday.
