"Off" Sunday... :)

Had to smile when I read this yesterday.  Walking as a Stoic practice.  :)  Cold and gross out per the weatherman yesterday.  SO glad it waiting until later in the day yesterday.  I left the apt yesterday at 8:45 a.m. and let the landlord know so he could get to the work needed to get the pipe work fixed and keep the water off to my apt off for as little time as possible.  I wandered until 1 p.m. but headed home then.  Was just coming back from using the public restroom at the Town Hall when I ran into the landlord who was getting ready to call me at 2 p.m.!!  Much more than he anticipated.  Always the case when working on a building is over 200 yrs old.  :)  Another "hiccup" in my Sunday plan - I was heading out for my RTT to Unionville for the first time in a long time and found the Burlington to Unionville route was blocked off.  Trees must have caused some issues with all the snow/rain/wind weather of late.  Will try again next Sunday.

So my route yesterday - to Burlington and back, then to the Shoppes, then home.  Making sure I stopped along the way to use public restrooms not know what I was going to find when I got home.  :)  

Spoke to sister #1 and niece #2.  They left for Venice last night.  Wrote an email to send this a.m. to niece #1 to wish her Happy Anniversary today.  Spoke to sister #4 as she landed from her flight home from Florida.  Sisters are checking in on sister #6 as she moved through her "dog re-homing" of Saturday.  

FEN boss shared with me to share my latest writing with the blog team.  Will see what they have to say.  

Tonight no ZEN DC, but BOF budget workshop.  I will go or tune in.  Will see how I feel tonight.

Might think about barriers...  I am anxious about son's travel back to states if that is still on.  Will hope that the rain stops for a walk later.  It was an umbrella walk yesterday.  Oh well.  Have a good Monday.
