When coming home or back to a new homeplace after a service experience, there is so much to choose from as to what next. So it comes down to the "How do you eat an elephant? question - and the answer is one bite at a time. The same strikes me as the way to consider how to set a course that will meet the needs of the community I find myself and build upon my service experience. Those who have served in challenging situations in past service might ask: What can I bring to this local table? It is a bit of reverse engineering as to the tools used in service and those needed to run a board, a town, a municipality but when it comes down to it - get more than 3 people in the room trying to accomplish a goal...pull out those soft skills of being prepared, doing your homework, making people feel safe, seen and heard that you have used all your adult life and get everyone pulling in the same directions.

Lots to think about today. AND it is "Are You Smarter Than A Librarian" trivia event at a local library...early dinner before with family friend and the two other "team" members...hope we win. :) Other than that walk if rain allows...if not, need to find an activity.
Yesterday - icy walk to library to return W&T book. The sun was strong so I thought things would have de-iced. Not so much. :) Then did some clearing of icy slush in back parking lot. Then EOLD Nervous System support session! So good. Then met family friend for non-icy walk. Then more clearing in the parking lot before more precip today. Think all rain, until the overnight into Friday. Then ZOOM with sister and her group. Then bed. Did start The Last Runaway this a.m. Another Chevalier book.
You need to focus on the bigger picture and stop worrying about everyday details. On the work front especially a more open-minded outlook on what may be possible will impress people in positions of power and maybe even earn you a promotion.
Set a specific goal before starting the day, darling Libra, and luck will be on your side. An auspicious aspect between the Pisces Sun and Jupiter magnifies the significance of your efforts. With a detailed to-do list and consistent workflow, breakthroughs will arrive sooner than expected. A steadfast devotion to your craft will earn you the attention of influential colleagues. When receiving praise or recognition, leverage it toward your aspirations. As the Moon moves through your sign, you will shine brilliantly. Avoid the temptation to make yourself smaller while Luna squares Jupiter midafternoon, or you will get in your own way.
Allow your eager and restless nature to express itself in ways other than through the spoken word, Libra. Show someone that you care through your gentle touch or a big bear hug. Hold on a little bit more tightly than you might normally. There's an unspoken understanding that comes when you communicate through nothing but pure silence. Work on developing this kind of connection with those closest to you.
Will try and settle into the day...inspired. Keep a good thought for that. Have a good Thursday.
