Sun is not up yet, but if it is like yesterday - as I texted my PD buddy in the a.m. yesterday - "Beautiful sky day". The season really showed itself yesterday. Shoe and wardrobe change and even lighter shirt will be needed today. And I got the latest writing from buddies in NC who moved to a new level of their CCRC. More change. Then a dream where my former school #2 boss announced her retirement. Then I found myself at a family gathering on the Cape with a surprise appearance from my son. But right before I woke up I realize that he is sitting at Logan airport...and I am a good 2 hour drive away. And no one was offering to drive me. But in real life he did send a pic from Laguna Beach (my guess on his location based on the look and his plan) at a buddy's family's beach house. Lots to think about today. And another change to my day - no EOLD for me today. Speaker is an author and a doula...but the doula who disappointed me in 2024. I can't be comfortably in the room when she is speaking about her grand accomplishments. But I guess her strength is her academics not human connections. MIT, PHD, ... on me that I did not push harder to get done what needed to get done.
Another - lots to think about today. But yesterday - Shoprite $18.42/$5.67 day, ran dishwasher, early walk, noon PCV webinar, 1 p.m. CA DC, 7 p.m. author talk - "On Writing Action-Packed and Suspenseful Spycraft with Brad Taylor" . Might have to pick up one of his books. Special forces guy to author of 20+ books.
Today - walk and clean apt. Want to write a response to NC buddies blog post. With no EOLD and 9 a.m. walk time, I will have plenty of time to sift through my thoughts about dreams, post, etc.
