Easter Saturday and haircut :)

Happy Easter!  My recognition of the day is over with my RI gathering yesterday.  Nice day.  Got down and back from sister #4's safely.  17 PSI in one tire that sister #4 remedied with her tire pump gadget.  Glad I asked her to check them as part of my holiday festivities.  Also sister #6 trimmed my hair up.  Feel much lighter this a.m.  :)  Niece and her husband added to the mix.  Great food and a meal for today.  Tears about lost pets - death and rehoming.  Laughing about other topics that came up.  Phone call with sister #1 - back from Italy will be getting her daughter back a plane to get home to CA today.  Her gentleman caller has to have his pacemaker "re-paced" next week.  

So yesterday - early drive to RI, short walk with sister #4, get dinner started, haircut, walk downtown with sister #6 and niece and husband, eat, drive home.  Mazda behaved!  $3.99/gal - $20.20 at Go Happy Gas.  $2.85/gal the last time I purchased it...  12/30/25 184,013 miles  4/4/26 184,382.   I did splurge when I got to RI and bought a cup of coffee at Cumberland Farms.  $2/cup...$.99 the last time I splurged on convenience store coffee. Oh well. Uneventful drive home. Nothing on my travel schedule for awhile.  :)

Today.  Might be walking in the rain.  Could see from my route yesterday that Burlington to Unionville on trail is still closed...will figure out a route for today.  GREAT leftovers waiting for meal #2.  Alameda DC at 4:30 p.m.  Glad they did not reschedule.  Hope to make a bigger dent in Under the Tuscan Sun.  Enjoying that book.  Chocolate cream pie sister #6 got from the Centerville Pie Company...beyond delicious.  That will be my splurge for today. https://www.centervillepies.com/menu
