People day

After all my thinking about where to have lunch with sister #4 pre lacrosse game (I kept saying field hockey when taking about it yesterday...)  :)  We went to Panera because we got talking to too many people as we took a quick walk after she got here and were running out of time before the game.  Worked out.  I had a soup/salad combo and she had a half sandwich so it was not too much food and left room for Grassroots for ice cream after the game. 

So yesterday - took an early walk, family friend shared that she and grandsons were at the town fishing derby but I was waiting for sister to arrive, short walk with sister where I took her by the house of one of her elem/HS friends that had recently been redone and put on the market, lots of memory lane talk with one of the neighbors.  Then Panera, Westminster School for game, Grassroots, she checked the tire pressure in my tires again with her gadget and all were fine...can't figure out how I got to 17 PSI on Easter Saturday.  Then checked email and heard from son - Back in CDMX :) They opened a coffee spot just for me downstairs since I left ha.   Getting hot down here :) Good trip from LA to Laguna to Tijuana to Mexico City though.  Always good to see some old friends. Glad to get the update.  He was there Dec 23-March 23.  Now back until...I don't know. Reached out to former school #2 co worker who has a birthday this week and worked at the school we were at yesterday and has a birthday this week. Then LA DC.  Good conversation.  I had finished The Beast in the Clouds: The Roosevelt Brothers' Deadly Quest to Find the Mythical Giant Panda. Interesting story about Teddy Roosevelt's sons and the US/China Giant Panda relationship beginning.  Started W&T book club book last night - The Mighty Red by Louise Erdrich.  Thought I had read all of hers, but no.  

Today - long walk IF it is not raining too much.  Will calibrate distance with weather.  :)  40's and rain...What a roller coaster week of weather.
