Back to real time. Yesterday and my 6 a.m. start was a "start" for me. But recovered. PD buddy for the first time in a long time called me and said he was down on Market St bench having his coffee so I went out and we chatted for a bit. I watched my Thursday L&O shows. Walk. Finished The Big Red for W&T book club. It was a late-ish walk. Nothing on my paper calendar except "son's birthday".
So for today. Started a new book. A Walk in the Park by Kevin Fedarko is a non-fiction book detailing his and photographer Pete McBride's epic, year-long, 750-mile trek across the entire length of the Grand Canyon, a journey they initially, and naively, called "a walk in the park". Not sure what drew me to the book, but will give it a whirl. Will watch Friday show. Listen to All-In. Walk. See what else pops in. Tomorrow 1 p.m. to swimming lady's house for coffee, 4 p.m. Hemlock Society talk online, 7 p.m. Albany CA DC.
Try not to take life too seriously this weekend. Some of the things going on in the world may make your blood boil, but what can you personally do about them? Aim to be a force for good in your own backyard. Change starts at home.
Ego bruises provide important lessons that can make or break you, dear Libra. Consider what the universe is trying to tell you while the Taurus Sun and Pluto square off. If you've been stubbornly clinging to goals that haven't panned out, it's possible your true calling is being ignored. Soften the spirit by spending time with people who love you once the Leo Moon aligns with Chiron this afternoon. Unexpected events will lead you to a higher path throughout the next seven years after Uranus enters Gemini this evening. Plan a quiet Saturday at home when Luna debuts in Virgo. Aspects with Uranus and Venus offer enlightenment through spiritual practices or self-care rituals.
You have certainly felt better than you do today, Libra. We'll pause here while you go and fetch the aspirin. The stomachache and headache are simply the result of recent overindulgence. Don't worry - you'll be fit as a fiddle by tomorrow morning. Next time someone offers you multiple helpings of food or drink, however, you might want to consider politely declining!
No food or drink overindulgence...thinking overindulgence perhaps. :) Will try to leave some of my thoughts out on my route today. Soften my spirit. Will keep all in mind but in a lighter way. Have a good Saturday.
