Walked, walked up and back from pool, listened to people and music outside until late into the night for me. Luckily had LA DC until 8 p.m. First glimpse of quiet was 10:18 p.m. Oh well. Max Creek is one of the pioneering jam bands in the American rock scene, formed in Hartford, Connecticut in 1971. Known for their multigenerational fan base, they blend rock, country, funk, reggae, and jazz. Fans consistently praise their improvisational live shows. Other groups and vendors set up at 2 p.m., Max Creek started at 6 p.m. It felt a bit like a Grateful Dead/Phish traveling fans. Lots of flowy skirts. :) So exiting my parking lot after 12 noon, I let my car sit - no issue for me - so after my regular walk, I walked up and back to pool. Beautiful weather day. LA DC interesting conversation about where to live as one ages. Interesting based on what has been mentioned around me. NC friends. One of the swimming ladies looking to scale down. Question of moving for real estate reasons or future care issues. Interesting that someone in DC moved from LA to northern CA to move to smaller house and closer to one of their sons. Also a friend of the swimming ladies selling a big family house for a smaller one in the next town.
Forgot to listen to All-In yesterday a.m. Listening now.
Today - walk to Unionville, map out grocery shopping for the week, swimming. Do think I am going to do a Shoprite/ALDI combo platter. Also have son showing up on Tuesday so this week is going to be "off schedule" for me. Wednesday and Thursday will be travel days. See sisters and a niece on Thursday. I have to get comfortable with different schedule and spending more money. Keep a good thought that I can be at peace with that.
The next few days could get a bit bumpy, but you will survive and most likely thrive. As a cardinal sign, you tend to do best when opposing forces put you under pressure, and on the work front you are sure to be challenged.
Clouds part and the sunshine filters in as Cancer season begins! Honor the summer solstice by reflecting on long-term goals, darling Libra. Recommit to aspirations you are emotionally invested in to accelerate your journey toward the finish line. You'll need peace and quiet to fully assess your options while the Virgo Moon aspects Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter. Confide only in trusted allies who have valuable advice to offer, otherwise your vision may become muddled. The quarter Moon rises in your sign midafternoon, highlighting fears around success and failure. Seek fun and adventure with loved ones to get out of your own head when Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto stir tonight.
Take it easy today, Libra, and work to digest some of the input you've received over the past couple days. This is a day to contemplate and plan. With matters of the heart, you may find that a sensitive, grounded approach works best. This isn't always your favorite mode of operation, but it's one that will provide you with the balance to counteract your usual frenzied pace.
Happy Summer Solstice! Wish me luck on facing the challenges, reflection/recommitment, contemplations. Fingers crossed. Have a good Sunday.
PS: Finished Blunt Instrument. On to last book on bedside table. :) Library stop this week.
