Stumbled on this pic from the Torch Run when I was looking for when the town's HS graduation was - last Friday...last day of school for the rest was yesterday. My old boss and PD buddy. 2010 until now they have both been very good friends in their individual ways. But back to yesterday. Walk, FEN blog meeting from which I did not retreat as planned. I did ask for a summer hiatus to try to turn the dial down on the noise of the last month. So we will keep on the look out for articles or do some writing, but not go full back until we reconvene on Aug 20. Texted with son, he passed on the Knicks parade in NYC. Heard from cousin trying to get in touch with sister #1. Heard from sister #6 who is planning for next Thursday and our getting together at sister #4's. As usual my plans are not festive or food ladened enough... Son will be able to help me once he gets here. I was not moved to go to the pool post zoom call. It wasn't raining, but was not motivated.
Today - walk, massage, pool is the plan. Always a jolt to take that first plunge when the weather has not been real warm to warm up the water a bit... Will see if the swimming ladies are there when I get there.
Had a 3:33 and a 5:55 moment yesterday at end of zoom call and as I shifted gears to closing down my day mentally.
