Some hits and misses Monday... :)

First day all alone today BUT ran into a former school #1 co worker in the parking lot of ALDI. $22.31 but it will turn into $25 with the bag o salad and bananas.  Guess it can be a social location.  So yesterday - no clothes washing, walk, BOA (have to go to another town to find a branch of the bank...) to deposit cash from election and referendum work and cat tending check, ALDI, got home and realized I forgot to buy bananas and the bag-o-salad mix that was on sale!..., Son called, FEN DC, read.  Son shared about his epic weed whacking around his house and lots.  Love it when he sounds settled.  :)  Keeping my latest visit with sister #1 and Paraguay friend as to how to make his trip to CT entertaining for him.  Where we can go.  Not my strong suit but will give it a try.  

So today - walk to ALDI to get the two items. Wander a bit after.  VERY glad that I am not working the referendum.  I did not wake up naturally until 5:12 a.m.!  Paper calendar for the week - EOLD tomorrow and Lansing and W&T book club on Saturday.  Nada mas.  Not a problem.  

Sister #1's gentleman caller went through his procedure well.  All day affair, but back home at night.  I always think the system throws people out a bit prematurely, but I am not a supporter of all they do - especially for a 83 yr old.  4 procedures in about 6 weeks...
