Pensive day

Sent along Healing Time picture to niece #4 yesterday.  She recently had a miscarriage at 12 weeks and yesterday her dog died.  Suddenly, heart attack was what sister #6 shared.  Lot for sister and niece and SIL to process.  And a nursing licensing exam to be taken by niece sometime this summer.  Also sent her part of an e.e. cummings poem:  here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud

Balance of day - walked to Unionville and back, walked to and from pool, watched interesting interview on The Open Mind with former mayor of Midland TX, and a special ICT 250th celebration interview with 3 First Nation activists.  Also read through the 250th celebration edition of the Smithsonian Magazine that family friend lent me.  All thought provoking.  All added to the "pensive".  But it was a beautiful day.  No sibling call.  Sister #1 has a full plate right now.  Glad I was not born #1 of the 6.  Phew.  

Today - wash clothes ("pod seasoned" water yesterday) :), walk, ALDI, no Shoprite needed, pool, PA DC.
