People day along my wandering

From beginning to end, I "bumped into" people that gave depth to my day.  Sounds corny but that was the feeling I had.  Massage lady, swimming ladies, family at the pool who have lived on one of my walking routes for years and now live across from the entrance to the pool, lady who lives down the street and at 86 is fighting with next steps.  3 kids and all grandkids in California...she is not in California.  But is not an aging with privilege cohort.  Not sure why these encounters felt different than on other days, maybe the massage opened up some "routes" within my mind and body.  Again, sounds corny but it might have.

So yesterday - walk, massage, pool, home.  Landlord and landlady returned home from beach while I was in the walking to massage and pool and back segment of my day.  Glad I tidied up their pile of mail before I left the apt.  Getting to the end of the Judy Blume book.  Was just checking the world wide internet to see if she was still alive and married.  Yes to both.  Will be curious how the author of the book closes out his writing.  

Today walk and I will keep fingers crossed that the Park & Rec don't get ahead of themselves and close the pool today because of weather forecast for TONIGHT...  Time will tell.  No red banner on web site as we speak.  3:50 a.m.  :)
