Smoke gets in my eyes... :)

We did not need a smoke detector to tell us that it was smoky. Cleaned apt.  It was a sweaty, smoky walk in the a.m.  Then EOLD discussion then I hustled up to the pool only to find they posting a sign on the door "CLOSED DUE TO AIR QUALITY".  Those young lifeguards and taking care of themselves :)  Oh well.  So swimming ladies went over to one of their houses to chat a bit, then I stayed to do the book moving job she had asked me to do.  I had gently mentioned that at 86 yrs old...maybe moving the book out of the home rather than around the home...she just smiled and told me where to put what.  Another "Oh well".  Came home had my meal #2 and then called my TX/NM friend back.  She had reached out after her return from Atlanta to College Station and she hopes to be in ABQ by Sunday or Monday.  

Today - walk, pool OR if pool closes - a CA DC I don't normally go to.  Will see what develops in the sky.  Family friend had to head to her family farm yesterday.  Probably with the pool...First World problem, but problematic nonetheless.  

Need to check and see if the bill passed ruling out "spring forward, fall back".  Fingers crossed that it passes.  

Sister #6 recommended I read Georgia - NATIONAL BESTSELLER • In a dazzling work of historical fiction in the vein of Nancy Horan’s Loving Frank, Dawn Tripp brings to life Georgia O’Keeffe, her love affair with photographer Alfred Stieglitz, and her quest to become an independent artist.  Right now I am reading Judy Blume - a Novel and two loaners from family friend - Lilac Girls and Alexander Hamilton by Chernow.  But I will put Georgia on my list.

Chores for week done.  Nobody but the swimming ladies on my possible encounter list.  Will see if anyone pops on to my radar.  I have no problem with me, myself and I if it comes to that.  :)  Have a good Thursday.
