Had no idea Monday would be such a Monday! :)

I was definitely "showered" yesterday.  A rainy start Monday sent me out for an abbreviated walk in the a.m.  Just did not have the energy to fight rain drops yesterday.  Washed load of clothes.  Car out to Bank/SHOPRITE/ALDI morning run.  Bank to cash cat tending check, Shoprite $14.87/$9.88 spent/saved, ALDI $17.81. 13 items at average price of $2.32 each.  All sale items at Shoprite. Produce at ALDI. :)  Met niece #4 at LaSalle's.  I passed along some of my "cash back" from my credit card via a gift certificate to NC friends.  And that led to a ZOOM tour of their new pad.  What a gift to "see" them and their new setting.  Before that a 3 p.m. FEN DC.  Good group.  3 people from my GA DC in the room.  I was chatty.  Long email from niece last night re her visit at The Sacred Journey.  I suggested it to her and I am so glad she felt the same grace and peace I had felt when meeting Joyce.  Full day.  Also got a swim in in spite of the rain. Drove - wanted to avoid rain walk if rain came.  Held off long enough for me to get my laps in.  I was the only one in the pool.  :)  Another gift of the day.  

Today - run dishwasher, walk, 11 a.m. MEA ZOOM, 1:30 p.m. pool.  Sent cousin a note saying happy 95th birthday to her mom - who died in 2000.  Will see if the day fills in today like it did yesterday.  Need to mention the Monday lunch special to the swimming ladies today as a possible outing once the pool closes on Aug 16.
