I am leaning into the seasons and solstices as the opportunity for change. The summer to fall being especially pronounced as to changes - and sneezing. :) And I am reminded that in a couple of weeks - moving my bed to its fall/winter position, flip and turn mattress. Physically inviting change to come in. Will see where this season takes me. But not to Cape Cod. :)
Yesterday - ran dishwasher, read, walked, picked up the new Eggers book. “In this satisfyingly old-school novel, an artist tries to find his place, and hold onto his spark, in a world that values fads and flash. . . . Contrapposto is an earthy, warm return to form . . . . To call the book ‘moving’ would be a smelly cliché, so let’s say undulating, with both despair and hope.” —Alexandra Jacobs, The New York Times Book Review Finishing up Careless People - I will need a "satisfyingly old-school novel" after this read. Would love to know what the REAL conversations are that are happening at the social media company as we go into the mid term elections...OR maybe all is realigned over the decade since the setting of the book. Fingers crossed. Or the social media has its fingers crossed behind its back. After walk - CA DC, FEN DC, "late night" for me Death Sangha - guided meditation no sharing aspect to this session. Each session different depending on the facilitator.
Feel I do not know the whole story about what might be happening in son's life...but I will "let life come to me" on that front. Son knows his mother's limits as to information processing as it pertains to his life and times.
Shared with sister #4 that I will land at her house on Thursday. Event for niece #4 on Friday and will return home at some point over the weekend when sister #4 leaves for Cape.
Today changed up a bit after landlady invited me up for dinner tonight to see her sister-in-law/my friend since nursery school who will be in town from FL. So today - clean apt, walk with family friend, dinner and we will see if things wrap up in time for me to catch a bit of Lansing DC.
What you have been going through lately is no doubt tough, but in the greater scheme of things, it will do you more good than harm. Keep telling yourself that the good times are just around the next corner. What you believe today will be your reality tomorrow.
Distant friendships evolve into something more meaningful as the Leo Moon aspects Venus and the nodes of fate. Be open to exploring deeper connections with kindred spirits you haven't gotten a chance to get to know. Conversations grow increasingly intimate once Luna enters Virgo and aligns with Chiron, and sharing your story can feel both validating and healing. Opportunities for romance also come into play when Luna, Pluto, and Saturn enter a rare yod formation this evening, though the clues will be subtle. Risks could lead to rewards later tonight, thanks to a lucky aspect between the Moon and Uranus.
Your world is changing, Libra, both internally and externally. You feel a need to broaden your horizons. You may be contemplating a move to a new neighborhood or trip to a faraway land. The people in your life will change as a result of this. You're about to embark on a new phase of life, and these new friends will act as able guides.
Cosmic guidance seems to be singing the same "September is the new January" tune... :) Have a good Wednesday.
