Weird dreams last night. I was in an airport and Bobby Knight was the man behind the counter who would be giving me my boarding pass. For some reason he wouldn't give me mine for quite awhile and we ended up spending lots of time together in the airport. While in the airport I was watching TV and there was a Duke-UNC basketball game on TV and the UNC players were in street clothes and Duke in uniforms and UNC was winning. Wierd...it wasn't like I was watching sports last night before I went to bed.
Son contacted me last night so I will be separating myself from my money quicker than I thought. Looks like I am the last of the seed money investors to get in. I told him I would give my spot to someone else, but no response from him to that email... I told him to call me with all appropriate account information so I can go by the bank and put the money in.
We had a snow dusting last night, but I don't think it will be the "quiet snow" type walk by the time I go out tonight. An Alberta Clipper - I don't know all the names of the various weather patterns and what they mean to local weather. Don't know if the weather will put a crimp in the sister get together plan this weekend. We will see.
Had a heartbreaking email from my cousin. Drugs and alcohol and our kids - nothing that ever makes sense to friends and family. I went through my Soul and Self book to give her a few thoughts for any quiet time she can find.
Boss back from conference today. Yesterday I brought peace pins into one of my co-workers. She had mentioned at Monday that she was "just looking for peace in her life" - so I brought her some pins and told her to give them out to her "peace team" - those around her that she can enlist to help her meet her goal. They were a big hit.
On that note - have a peaceful day and maybe I will have a quiet snow walk tonight.
