Winter has arrived. I shortened my walk last night to the library and back. Tonight I will pass.

Sister #4's 50th birthday today. Dinner plans for tonight with old co-workers for me. But the first thing will be to see if my car starts.

I signed up to make my bowl for our school's Empty Bowls project. I will try my hand in the pottery room. The teacher said "no talent required"...that was key to my involvement.

I have a problem with getting my head around a company losing $7 billion...how do you do that and stay in business??? And now they want to borrow $23 billion? And I worry about getting a car loan because I don't make much money anymore or have any real estate to mortgage against. Maybe I should be a bit more freewheeling?

Will do my post trip de-briefing writing this weekend. Maybe it is the cold. (But I must say the 55 degree heat is fine for inside.) Happy Friday.
