Sunday

Old picture, but I was happy to see a picture posting of JameSon especially after OKS' win yesterday. I also am thinking that Texas A&M might have broken the record again as to attendance at yesterday's game. Things are heating up and March Madness is right around the corner. I will shift my attention that way after I get through the Super Bowl next week. I do wish I was going to be in NC for Super Bowl Sunday. A friend of mine has the best party and NOW with the Colts in the game it should be better than ever. I seem to be a week off on all my trips - missed the Houston Marathon by a weekend and the Super Bowl in NC by two weeks. Oh well.
Spoke to my son yesterday. His newly formed company is getting off the ground - Sister Jam. I am very excited (scared as a parent, but...) that he is doing what he wants to do, how he wants to do it. I have to let it go since I did not take the straightest route when I was in my twenties (or my 30's, 40's, 50's for that matter) and he actually has a plan - I made/make travel plans, he is making a life plan. I am very proud. I think it helped that one of the people I saw in Houston was a past co-worker who is also Wes Anderson's mother. My "vision" is that my son's journey will be as successful.
Checked the web yesterday for February events - music at UofH, First Thursday at the Wadsworth, events at UNC while I am in NC, sports at sister #5's school. Went to the library yesterday and picked up a tax booklet for me to mentally prepare for doing my own taxes and look at area library events for February. February is always a good month for events AND it is almost Spring!
January 28, 2007 -- Resist the urge to ram your ideas and opinions down other people's throats this week. If you are sure of your ground then you should not need to get aggressive about it. Maybe that's the problem: maybe you secretly doubt that the intellectual position you are promoting is as wonderful as you claim it to be. Instead of trying to convince others, look at the facts again for yourself.
This "guidance" for the week led me to delete the email I was going to send my boss re my post probation life at work...think I will let it unfold naturally. I am very thankful for cosmic guidance!
Have a good week.
