Fun Friday

Getting ready to head to the office. Returning student contracts going out today. Couldn't pull all the pieces together in time to get it done yesterday. I will also have to address a mound of mail. People were making personal delivery yesterday to meet the deadline. "Postmarked by" is all we asked for but people wanted to hand it to me...

NC friend moved out our get together to 6 p.m. Mini-ice storm yesterday played with everybody's plans yesterday. But that will work for me. Plus the friend she is visiting wanted to have dinner at the restaurant a block from my house - not knowing where I lived. That will work for me. (I was thinking of going to the town she lived in to be on the look out for Bill Walton, but I will go with her plan.) I did clean my apartment last night in case they want to stop by before or after dinner. I know my NC friend can make the 4 flights up, I will see what shape her friend is in before I push for a visit.

Last night was fun - ended up being an Admissions office only party. But the 6 of us had a good time. We left in shifts - two co-workers first, then me and the boss, and we left bachelorette and a co-worker at the bar. The husband to be showed up as we were leaving and the co-worker's boyfriend was on his way, so it was a good time to exit.

Not sure what else is up for the weekend except work, but that is not a bad thing. Last night was fun and I am really looking forward to seeing my friend tonight so sandwich that with work and it is all good.
