Something Good Will Happen Very Soon

forgot to share what my fortune cookie had to say on Sunday night. I have it taped to my computer screen. I am working with that thought.

All the peace of Sunday drifted away as Monday developed. One of the admissions' counselors announced she is leaving a week before our March 10 deadline. Her husband got a job in Boston and she is following. No offer of commuting 2-3 days a week between now and the end of the year, no offer of nothing except - good luck. In the big picture, I know she has been looking for a job since last year so I did not expect to stay long, but leaving right during the peak time with an interim leader? Not a nice thing in my book. But I know it will be for the best in the long term.

Stayed at the office until around 9 p.m. I did skip out for a minute to go to an EDA planning meeting for our April 15 event. I even missed dance class so you know I was feeling up against it.

Good news for the UCONN women. People were killing themselves to get home in time for the game as I was heading back to the office for work day, part II.

More thoughts about Atlantic City in March and Hawks Nest Beach in June. Have to wait until March 5 to see about the beach deal, but I took June 16-20 off so I will be at some beach. I am not a fan of warm salt water so early in the season is better for me. I also have to remember to save my $10 and get my state park beach pass before June 20.

Have a good day.
