Looks like my NYC trip is taking shape unless my son has gotten a better offer. I am working around me and the Pope being in the same place at the same time and not having him get in my way as I work around the city. I can't decide if I want to have my son figure out how to get close to the doings or see how far we can stay away from them...we will see. I do have one thing I want to go see based on the lecture I went to last night. Shake Shack - that is a James Wines' building. He was inspiring to say the least as to Green Design and building. I was also amazed to know that his firm designed the BEST building in Houston that was always the talk of the town, but I am afraid has probably been replaced by now.
Today should be interesting at work. Head of School dropped a work bomb on my co-workers yesterday. We will see how our department leader takes it from yesterday's meeting to today's work plan.
But I have been thinking too much this morning and not writing so I need to get going. Spring Concert tonight at school, NYC tomorrow, Sunday back around town. Feels good right now. We will see how things unfold.
