It could not have been a better day!

I am still trying to process the day. I left the house at 7:30 a.m. and got home at 8:30 p.m. I did not stay for all of the spoken word segment, but the room was packed. Lots of students joined the crowd for the last two segments.

I have a notebook full of notes and the DVD of one of the event organizer's first feature film. My head is also full of thoughts that I need to sort out. I left a cryptic message on my son's phone on one of my breaks and then emailed him last night. My new idol is Danny Cahill. His group did an incredible reading of his new play.

Dinner with my neighbor tonight. Hope I do not bore her with my ranting about yesterday. Also hope that my birthday spread will impress my co-workers. I stopped at the store on the way home to pick up strawberries and rainbow sherbet - completing my citrus theme.

I need to redesign my daily writing.
