Wednesday

Thought this was pertinent to my life...if there was not drama, I would be very bored...

"Where would the gardener be if there were no weeds?" asked ancient Chinese sage Chuang Tzu. To that I add: Where would lawyers be without crimes? How would psychotherapists fare without neurotics? What would critics do without the stuff they love to diss? Now let's apply this line of thinking to you, Libra. What thing that you dislike also happens to be something you need? What condition that you're opposed to is essential in constructing your identity? This is a good time to acknowledge the value of everything you oppose, disagree with, and fight against"

I have now moved off sports for awhile and am getting energized by politics and town business. We did not have a quorum for our EDA meeting last night, but the group of people who have RSVP'd for our Forum next week is very interesting. I am off to the town Charter Revision public hearing tonight. We will see what they are proposing. Tomorrow I will try again to go to a neighboring town (where my school is located) zoning commission meeting. Friday I will switch gears and go to our Admin Asst group Wine and Cheese party at work. Hope we get a good turnout.

Next week I have Book Club, Forum, a program at Mt Holyoke College on Thursday - April is a good event month around here. I also need to start looking for when they start selling my state park passes for the summer - they are not going to get me for that extra $10 this year!!

Put the word out to the sisters to see if anyone wants to go to NYC with me to celebrate my son's "quartcent" birthday. I will check the weather report to see if the 19th or 26th look better. I want to do my get off the train on 125th instead of Grand Central and do the "historic walk" through Harlem.

Better get going. Don't want to miss the 7 a.m. breakfast group at the dining hall. Have a good Wednesday.
