Tuesday

Made some decisions last night - said yes to a compromise on my request to my landlord. A little reduction in rent and a new refrigerator. I will have to look at other ways to cut spending to stay within my "live on what I make" budget to cover the car payment. I did get my notice about my "stimulus check" - so that will cover the cottage in June. Never ceases to amaze me how I get what I need. But I also need to stay hungry in order to push me to do what I really need to be doing. I am also amazed on how busy and lazy I can be in the same day...

Yesterday was a good day - nice after school cook out. Got home in time for NewsHour and early to bed. It was a beautiful day weather wise and it looks like things will hold together for our W&C on Friday. I am trying to decide what to bring. I also RSVP'd yes for the Obama dinner next Tuesday night. I need a shot in the arm as to what the future can be politically. I did see bits and pieces on CSPAN of the Libertarian Presidential selection convention. Very interesting group.

Today should be raucous - first time everyone has been in our office for quite awhile. A part time staffer did get the news yesterday that her contract is not going to be renewed...that was not good. I also heard that one of the 10 attendees at the HOS' W&C this past Friday gave her a piece of her mind...I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for that one. What a place. With my lease renewal coming up, I am thinking I will be handing in my contract soon. I am thinking one more year will work but I better have a change timetable in mind for after that. We will see what develops.
