A full school day

I went from SAT proctoring, to a walk back home for a shower and change clothes, to Music Recital, Baccalaureate, Prize Night, Ice Cream Social and Simmer for a beer with current boss and the soon to be ex co-worker. No reading of my book club book and no nap.

I got an earful from one of the librarians when I popped into the library to read the NYT but she came over to share some thoughts about the life and time of our school. Interesting that she would feel comfortable talking to me...but it was interesting to hear what she had to say.

A thought I had while I was walking was that I picked the perfect week for the beach with the week of the longest days of sunlight of the entire year. I always have a bad time post June 21 knowing that days will become shorter from that point forward. But it works for me this year.

I put the word out to a family friend to tell him to let his daughter and granddaughter know they can pop down any day. A college friend left a message yesterday that she is thinking Thursday. Other college friends coming Friday. Son & lady friend thinking of Monday and/or Tuesday. I don't think it will be a lonely week.

Anxious to hear what is next with the Obama campaign with Hillary's announcement.

Today - church, graduation, parents, book reading. We will see what after that. Have a good Sunday.
