Monday before vacation

I might have a problem with concentration this week. It has been a long time since I had a vacation. I can't remember what I did in March. Need to look back at my log.

Yesterday was a long day - graduation went well, I left right afterwards and went into the parents and ran into a family friend who graduated with me from high school - I don't think I had seen her since the '70's...one of her kids graduated from college so she was on the east coast from Alaska. After that I went by my brother's house to drop off a birthday present for my SIL from my parents. I sat through the thunder and lightening storm there and then headed home. Cleaned house instead of taking a walk and them pretty much collapsed after this weekend. The heat does impact my endurance. It has been quite a long time since it has really been hot. Those seasons surprised me again! Our first "official" heat wave.

Put out the word about the beach house for next week. I am not much of an entertainer, but I am hoping being at the beach will fill in any entertaining gaps/gaffs that might come up.

Book Club tonight - haven't quite finished the book but feel that I have read enough to be a good participant.

Have a good week. I hope I can keep my concentration through Friday (unless I take Friday off to prepare for the beach..)
