Obama Tuesday

Picnic tonight with other Obama supporters - it will be neat if he goes over the top today. And then I can listen to what people who have been in his presence have to say about where we go from here. I made brownies last night. I hope that qualifies as a "bring a dish" item. I also need to bring some ginger ale. I was also approached by a co-worker to get him a couple of bumper stickers and a yard sign. He is the object of my "school girl crush" - so I made sure that I checked with the event coordinator last night. I also talked a lot about Colman McCarthy around school yesterday - two of the teachers, one of the librarians, the school psychologist. I was taken by the man and his mission.

Other than being inspired, I was a bit put off by the conversations going around with my co-workers, the new boss, and the old boss. The transition is taking an ugly shape. I do feel bad for the new boss, but that is why she gets the big money but I think it is stupid money being doled out on our hallway. But as always, I can't wait to get to work...where is the stupid in that!!! Oh well.

90-95 degrees for graduation Sunday. People will be sweating under the tent.
