Something I did have on my mind yesterday that I forgot to write about is the fallout of the DC gun law case in the Supreme Court. The right to bear arms - I am in the historic "militia" viewpoint, but now it sounds like someone is going to test any law that keeps them from packing heat. Not a good thing in my mind and another interesting tie to my Confucius book. I thought of that tie also when I saw an article in the NY Times about the lack of lawyers in Japan. But instead of our culture moving toward theirs, looks like the Japanese are thinking more attorneys may be the way to go.

Computer training went well. We are on our own now. I have a lot of clean up and inputting to do to get up to speed. I have another interesting project for my favorite DOF - keeping two sets of statistical reports - one for reality and the other for projected reality. I will have a disclaimer on the report that will share with him what I feel about this approach to making projections.

Tonight I am off to Shelton CT to see the band of a son of a friend perform. My first inclination on Friday is to become one with my couch, but I am working against that feeling.

I did indulge a bit last night - but no Miss Debbie's. I stopped and picked up a Subway sandwich and headed to my brother's for "dinner" and a swim. My brother and his family should be back tonight or tomorrow, so it was my swan song for living the pool in my backyard life. It was good while it lasted.

Meeting a co-worker and my ex-co-worker now subsistence farmer to walk right after work tonight. The ex-co finally has a contract on her house so life is good.
