Things are breaking down!

Bit into a bagel this morning and a piece of a tooth broke off. It was from one of the "big old filling teeth" so I will suggest extraction today and hope that is the way we go, but I will have to defer to the dentist if he tells me that will be a long term bad thing. We will see. And last night, my glasses broke - I don't know what the official name is of the part that goes from the glasses to the ear, but "it" broke. I was glad that when the day ended. The funny thing was I decided not to take a riding lesson with the rest of my department to safeguard my well being, but I still kept breaking down...what a mess. I thought the breakdown stage did not start until 60 - feels like I am getting a running start.

I am supposed to have dinner out tonight with my neighbor next door, I might have to change that plan based on what the dentist does.

But again, my phone bank work helped lift my spirits. I finished my list - I was afraid to leave any calling for tonight based on my mouth situation. But last night, I set up shop in the school library and sat there with my list and cellphone and finished my calls. That way I was calling a bit earlier in the evening and would disturb less dinner hours. After my calls, I took a short walk around campus and then came home.

I checked the map for where my former co-worker was moving - Elmira NY. The good news is it is close to Watkins Glen - the home of a NASCAR race...maybe that will get me to a race.

Keep your fingers crossed that I can get this broken tooth pulled and that will unbuckle a slight buckle of two of my other bottom teeth...maybe this break will be a beauty enhancer...a girl can dream.

What a week.
