Looking at the good parts of the day - I got a call from my son and set up an August 16 day trip to NYC to take him out to lunch; a call from the Murphy campaign to work at an event on Sunday and a visit from a town politician with a phone list which I spent 5:30-7 p.m. on last night. I took a quick swim after work at the town pool, then hit my diningroom table to make my calls. I think it was a surprise for some I was calling to hear I was making calls for a Republican - but the Republican is from my town and his primary opponent and the Democrat candidate are both from the town next door and I would rather have a "townie" making decisions on my behalf in the statehouse. August 12 is the primary. I will have to run over to the town hall that night to hear the results called out when they tally the votes.
Looking at the not as encouraging parts of my day - the good news is the ball is always in my court as to the changes that need to be made.
Pouring rain this a.m. better get going.
