Other developments - a group of "girls" I worked with when I was an RA at CCSU in the 70's are reuniting. I have a cassette tape they sent me when I was in the Peace Corps that they made when they were having one of their "group meetings". I have to go through my boxes and find that for the get together they are planning.

Sister #3 is working on the details of making my parents' home "livable" for my mother. Sounds like the living room will become the bedroom and the rest will be worked with. We will have all six kids home this weekend. Plus my son and sister #1's daughter. Son's girlfriend went home to Canada for a week. Should be an interesting weekend.

We have one of our biggest Admissions' events on Monday. I should be even more pleasant than usual after a family full weekend...

Queen Latifah as Gwen Ifill on the latest SNL skit. I am going to try to watch the SNL prime time show tonight.

I got my bank statement Tuesday. Investment portion not looking too good, but I think I have time for a rebound...we will see.

Sister #3 "hit bottom" yesterday - when I asked her what she wanted me to pick her up for dinner - McDonalds chicken nuggets and FFs - and this from someone who will not wear anything but natural fabrics...I think I better keep an eye on her as well as mother. My father is taking care of his own meals, but not collaborate effort to include my sister.

Whether hospital or rehab place - we get into a rhythm of visiting. Father/sister/brother/me coming and going during the day. Sister #3 can't drive in the dark, so I pick her up at my parents after work and take her on any errands after we finish our visit with mother. Issues of coffee/food/gingerale supplies. Sister #3 has set up a "holiday table" with Halloween candy. Sister #4 left behind her last two PEOPLE magazines. Mother has her Sudoku book. Sister #3 "lifted" a bunch of the hospital no-skid socks. She got to be friends with one of the aids and we knew where all the supplies were. I need to get that aid's name so I can write a letter to the hospital about her - since I will be communicating about the "business side of health care" breakdown I saw happen right before my very eyes.

But now, off to work to try and get all my ducks in a row for Monday's supplies. Have a good Thursday.
