Up at 3 a.m., writing away, to work by 7 a.m.(yes it is Sunday), left work at 11:30. Came home to take a chilly but sunny walk around my town - my "regular walk". Ran into the lady I count money with at church and she was able to reschedule our counting weekend so I can go to NC with a clear conscience. Then I was home by 1 p.m. and became one with my couch until just now.
Did some research and I will go by Stew Leonard's on Saturday to get some Thanksgiving stuff.
I watched football, napped, watched a movie, back to football. Very interesting movie - Women Wanted - directed by Keifer Sutherland...
With its focus on three compelling characters---an emotionally-repressed college professor; his troubled, rebellious son; and the warm, understanding housekeeper who comes into their lives---Woman Wanted offers a perfect showcase for three gifted actors. Michael Moriarty gives a characteristically intelligent and sensitive performance as a man who struggles to communicate with the people he loves. Keifer Sutherland is always believable as his mercurial son. And Holly Hunter is charming as a young woman hoping to start a new life for herself. The actors are helped by on-the-mark direction and a literate script which blends both drama and quirky humor
The rest of the night will be news, Q&A and bed. Having hot chocolate right now. Nice - but different - day.
