February 4

Is it almost March 4 yet? Or better yet, April 4?... I looked on Weather.com this a.m. so I could see that we have 5 days of 40+ degree weather beginning this weekend!!! Maybe the glacier in our condo parking house will begin to melt. The tricky part of the melting process where I live is that snow is falling off the roof - from 4 floors up - on to the parking where - yes, cars are parked. I am very glad my spot is on the far side of the parking lot.

Talking to sister #4 last night about the state of the world - wasn't the most upbeat, but it is what it is. I think the economic news waves will be lapping a bit closer to my shore. I feel pretty confident about my position in the world, but I wonder sometime about the why of that feeling. Also talked about Spring Break travels and it sounds like both of us have road trip on our minds. Our breaks are not synchronized, but our routes might cross in Florida. That would be fun. I would love to meet up with her in St Augustine so she could see where my son went to school and was my refuge so many weekends when he was there. We will see.

Getting an early start since I called it a day a bit early last night due to the snow and Jane Eyre. I am getting up against to get it read by Book Club night...
