As to the weekend...you can't make up my life. A comment from a co-worker's email: ""Saint Louis coach Rick Majerus didn't make the trip with his team because his girlfriend was involved in a serious car accident." Did you have anything to do with this?" I am glad I did not make the 2 hour drive to Kingston RI. I will also rethink by stop in Atlantic City for the A-10 tournament now that another fantasy date of mine has gone by the wayside. Might head directly to Florida.

The UCONN game was a complete blowout. The Pitt coach put on quite a show, but even getting a "T" did not get her girls going. It was neat to be at the game where the first UCONN women's player was put in the Ring of Honor while still being an active player. Gambel does need some updating, but I am thinking that at this time in the state's budget life updating sports' venues is not in the cards. I did find a pink shirt so I fit in, but obviously not everyone got the "pink" memo. And what seems to be usual at girls' college basketball events - I was one of the younger viewers...

Think I will pass on going to Choate for the game tonight - tricky commute and game time for this game.

I have lots of basketball to see this week even without this game.

Keep a good thought that today goes well and I transition smoothly to the Feb 17-March 10 time period. Then it will be on to vacation time.
