Tuesday

I am having such a hard time keeping track of days of the week... Very good that I had this temp job this week and last. I got lots of volunteer work done on Sunday during the day and will go on campus today. Temp work was fun yesterday.

Last night had a holiday get together with an ex-co worker and her family. Neat group and always fun. Not so fun hearing the results of the Viking game this a.m....

Tomorrow is niece's basketball, New Year's Eve with some ex-co workers - I will not be there until midnight, but I am looking forward to it. This weekend into NYC again to have Christmas with my son.

My drink offerings last night were well received - Seven Daughters Red was a hit! I will have to try it myself one of these days. Corona beer was a hit to the brother headed to Mexico for a vacation. I love that when I follow my instincts and people are pleased.

Not sure what 1/1/2010 will hold as to work or no work. But it will be the right thing no matter what.

Met a man at my temp job yesterday who has a grandson with 3 days left in Iraq after serving 3 tours. I can't imagine how long these next 3 days are going to feel for that family.

As usual I am slow getting going this a.m. It will be interesting when I need to gear things up again if I get a regular job!
