I think this will be my last trip for awhile. Traveling to other cold areas is not a goal of mine, but to see my son and get a free meal at my sister's...it will be worth the trip. I just hope that the trip up and back from the train station are clear sailing.
Yesterday I had a great walk and finished up my dumpling food "coupon" - now I have finished two of my gifts. Finished Dish N' Dat with my sister and niece after the basketball game on Wednesday. One more to use.
I also took my father to get his computer. Got a laptop and was hoping for the best, but as I was about to wrap up my day - I got a call to come back into the parents' house because father had no idea how to turn off the computer. He never turned the desktop off...not a good approach with a laptop. I hope the Comcast people can get out there quickly to get the internet set up and that he can get some help getting acclimated to the laptop versus desktop. I had no patience last night and not sure how much I can muster for that task...
Great finishes for the bowl games yesterday. I was said about Northwestern ending. Just did not seem right.
Better get ready to go. It seems like it has been a weekend/holiday for two weeks straight!
