90th birthday party - not mine!

Getting ready to head to the parents. Father's 90th birthday party today. Should be an interesting day. Always is when our family gets together.

Yesterday was fun. I loved the phone bank work for one of our gubernatorial candidates. Only two calls out of 3 hours of calling that were not happy I was calling them. That is very successful in the phone bank business.

I finished up some ROV work. Went in to see one sister (only one came into town yesterday). Went to church, then took a long bath and curled up to finish my book - The Help. I read until I was done...then I remembered I was going to lose an hour's sleep. Oh well.

Volunteer school work to do today. I will do it at my parents' while we wait for the crowd to arrive.

Other than that, I have TAIZE tonight which will be perfect after a day of family and new work starting this week.

Tomorrow - volunteer school meeting and lunch with ex co workers. Then I will gather myself to prepare for Tuesday. First day back at work after 3+ months off...keep a good thought for my re-entry. I am very excited. I feel so "guided" by all that has happened since I came back to my hometown - and I feel it is just the beginning of finding "my place" on so many levels.
