Sure felt like Spring arrived yesterday. Main St in my town was crawling with people and I looked festive with my three gift bags from Blumen Laden. The gifts were nothing big, but the presentation the store owner did for me made each one look so pretty it did not make any difference what was inside - but the contents of each all "spoke" to me as to the person I was gifting.
Went for a great walk of course. The weather would allow nothing else. And last night was a great visit with my friend from NC. Fleming's for dinner. I had never thought about going there, but they have a perfect deal from 5-7 p.m. and we took advantage of every minute of that time.
Today is counting money after church this morning, dinner at my brother and SIL's tonight and I hope a lot of outside time in between.
Do have a book club book to finish for book club tonight...so that needs to be fit in somewhere in my schedule. Tomorrow is my job talk appt, volunteer school work, book club - enough to fill my day. Not that that seems to be a problem in my "retirement" life.
Better get ready for church.
