Budget passed but not enough voters showed up to address the Charter Revision "Revisions". I am just thankful that we do not have to have another vote. It was a long day. I did get outside a couple of times just to run next door to my house for a quick break. After we got out at 8:30, I did walk to my work to drop things off and just get my blood circulating after being inside and either sitting or standing from 5:15 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. In 2011 there has to be another way to get this done. But I will not think about the process for a few days.
My VSW boss asked me to do some work but getting the request yesterday was not good timing. "Sequestered" yesterday, meeting former school ex co workers tonight, parents tomorrow to see how father's day surgery went, counting money and meeting cousin on Sunday - my mind was not open to taking on anything else. I hate saying no to him, but I passed on the opportunity.
I did find my desk full of stuff when I stopped by last night. I am heading out pretty soon.
