Hot and steamy and sideways rain was the weather of the day. Sitting outside at the Tavern did not materialize as I had to sit in my car for 10 minutes in the parking just trying to get a break to run from car to restaurant. It went from a hot and steamy day to a storm scene. Had a detour on the way home due to down tree limbs. Nothing compared to other parts of the country, but it got my attention on the way over. Good visit with friends even though the "patio party" music moved inside that made it a bit loud for sharing all our stories with each other.
Busy day making up for being away from the office but all got done. Thinking I could have said yes to work this weekend at VSW but since I responded on Wednesday when I was forced to stay inside all day. Oh well. I need to be patient and let life unfold this summer. Change is in my mind but I don't want to force the matter.
Theoretically I have a picnic tomorrow and counting money at church and day with cousin on Sunday. We will see how the weather treats my plans.
In to the parents after work today. Father theoretically was cut on yesterday for a melanoma issue. We will see what transpired. Need a long walk.
